Job Description:

The Warehouse Associate is a key player in ensuring the smooth operations of our warehouse and distribution center. This position involves various tasks that support the processing, handling, and distribution of inventory and materials. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for executing daily operations with efficiency and accuracy to meet the demands of our customers. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all warehouse activities. Responsibilities

  • Receive and accurately process incoming stock and materials orders.
  • Pick and fill customer orders efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
  • Ensure all outgoing shipments are properly packed and labeled.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment at all times.
  • Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment safely and responsibly.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to management promptly.
  • Assist in the cycle counts and inventory audits regularly and accurately.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring no damage occurs.
  • Collaborate with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Adhere to all company policies and OSHA safety standards consistently.
  • Support special projects and perform additional tasks as assigned.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all warehouse transactions.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in warehousing or logistics is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Basic computer skills, including experience with inventory management systems.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification is a plus.
