Responsibilities

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contract language and rates
  • Ensuring all documentation is accessible to DHMSO staff electronically and in hardcopy
  • Ensuring all contracts comply with relevant laws and organizational policies
  • Collaborating closely with legal, finance, and compliance teams to mitigate risks and secure favorable terms
  • Monitoring contract performance, compliance, and renewal dates
  • Maintaining a comprehensive contract management system for accurate record-keeping
  • Acting as a primary contact for external partners on contract matters
  • Organizing and attending relevant meetings
  • Performing general office and clerical duties
  • Securing one-case agreements with non-contracted providers when needed
  • Providing administrative support to designated management staff

Skills

  • 6+ years experience working in a high-level administrative support position
  • 2+ years working in a medical group, health plan, hospital or other related healthcare organization
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Stark Law, and Anti-Kickback Statute
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Law, or related field
  • Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and administration
  • Masters degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Law, or related field preferred
  • 8+ years experience working in a high-level administrative support position preferred
  • 4+ years working in a medical group, health plan, hospital or other related healthcare organization preferred
