Responsibilities

  • Support the origination and execution of investment banking transaction mandates for clients including large and mid-cap corporate clients in the Industrials industry as well as private equity portfolio companies.
  • M&A transactions include buy and sell-side M&A transactions in both domestic and cross-border transactions.
  • Capital markets transactions include debt and equity offerings.
  • Apply technical and analytical skills in valuation financial modeling, including leverage buyout analysis, M&A accretion/dilution analysis, sum-of-the-parts analysis, discounted cash flow analysis, IPO pro forma analysis, comparable company and precedent transaction analysis.
  • Support internal transaction and capital commitment committee processes including Fairness Committee, Equity Commitment Committee, and Leveraged Finance Committee.
  • Draft and negotiate engagement letters, confidentiality agreements, and other documents related to investment banking transactions.
  • Research and analyze trends within the subsectors of the Industrials industry, including diversified industrials, chemicals and transportation, among others.
  • Interact directly with clients, legal counsel, product teams, and senior bankers to tailor M&A advisory and capital raising solutions.
  • Conduct global bank/bulge bracket investment banking transactions in the Industrials sector.
  • Execute and advise on various M&A transactions, initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, convertible debt offerings, spin offs, recapitalizations, and private placements.
  • Conduct due diligence in connection with equity and debt financings, M&A, restructurings, minority investments, and other investment banking transactions.
  • Prepare materials for C-suite management teams, board of directors, and other client executives and participate and lead client meetings throughout deal origination and execution.
  • Conduct research using Factset, BamSec, Bloomberg, and equity research to analyze market data and competitive dynamics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Economics, Mathematics, Finance or related.
  • 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related Finance occupation.
  • Must have 2 years of experience in conducting global bank/bulge bracket investment banking transactions in the Industrials sector.
  • Must have 2 years of experience in executing and advising on various M&A transactions, initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, convertible debt offerings, spin offs, recapitalizations, and private placements.
  • Must have 2 years of experience in conducting due diligence in connection with equity and debt financings, M&A, restructurings, minority investments, and other investment banking transactions.
  • Must have 2 years of experience in preparing materials for C-suite management teams, board of directors, and other client executives and participating and leading client meetings throughout deal origination and execution.
  • Must have 2 years of experience in conducting research using Factset, BamSec, Bloomberg, and equity research to analyze market data and competitive dynamics.
