Role Overview Fundamental Equity takes an active approach to investing by aiming to identify companies that they believe will create long-term value. The approach is based on understanding and anticipating change through forward-looking, company-specific research. Fundamental Equity is seeking to add a highly motivated professional to its Client Portfolio Management team. Client Portfolio Management (CPM) is responsible for communicating the investment philosophy, process, product positioning and current market trends to clients and each of the key distribution channels globally. The Client Portfolio Manager will work with senior professionals on the Fundamental Equity team and throughout the organization to drive product initiatives, sales, and demand for Fundamental Equity products across Institutional and Retail clients. Key Responsibilities: * Serve as a product management generalist across the Fundamental Equity platform * Development and maintenance of proprietary product profiles, pitch books and other marketing materials focused on Fundamental Equity services, products and portfolio performance * Learn and communicate the Fundamental Equity Teams' investment philosophy, process, product positioning and current market trends to internal and external clients * Formulate and express investment views, field client questions on managers and fund investments, and outline investment thesis and market outlook * Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for clients and internal reporting across distribution channels * Coordinate communication and platform wide updates with internal sales and distribution channels (Private Wealth Management, Third Party Distribution, Institutional Sales) regarding managers and Funds. * Develop knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and investment teams capabilities to facilitate improved client experience * Assist with the completion of Requests for Proposals and other ad hoc projects for senior leadership Qualifications: * 1+ years of experience in Equity Research, Investment Management, Product Management, Client Portfolio Management or Sales/Marketing with a focus on Equities, or any Equity related background * Strong analytical and interpersonal skills * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal * Must be detail oriented, motivated, and hard working * Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point) is highly preferred * FactSet and/or Bloomberg experience is a plus ABOUT GOLDMAN SACHS At Goldman Sachs, we commit our people, capital and ideas to help our clients, shareholders and the communities we serve to grow.
