About The Role We are seeking a skilled and motivated Frontend Vue.js Developer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and integrating custom web applications within a microservices architecture, ensuring seamless functionality across various client systems.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, supporting both front-end and back-end development efforts as needed. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Vue.js, JavaScript, and CSS, along with experience in full-stack development, API consumption, and accessibility standards. As a key contributor, you will support project delivery, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with stakeholders to meet evolving client needs.

Due to the nature of our work supporting federal agencies, candidates must be eligible for a Public Trust clearance and adhere to strict security and compliance protocols.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in custom web application development
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Vue.js 3+ frameworks
  • 5+ years of full-stack development experience, including UI frameworks and backend architecture
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience (additional 2 years if no degree)
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and CSS
  • Experience developing and consuming FastAPI and/or RESTful web services
  • Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile development methodologies
  • Experience with continuous integration (CI) pipelines
  • Knowledge of mobile responsiveness and accessibility standards, including Section 508
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience working with the federal government or federal agencies
  • Familiarity with Vite, Quasar, or Pinia frameworks
  • Proficiency with Agile project management tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Experience working within Scrum or SAFe frameworks with 2-3 week sprint cycles
  • Experience with Python backend development
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally within an Agile team environment to deliver high-quality web applications
  • Design, build, and update custom web applications within a microservices architecture
  • Support and develop front-end components, and assist with back-end integrations when necessary
  • Implement accessibility standards and ensure mobile-friendliness of applications
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to support continuous delivery
  • Work closely with project managers to understand client requirements and support emerging needs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to front-end and back-end components
  • Maintain code quality through peer reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to enhance development processes
