Suterra is seeking a U.S. Marketing Manager to join our team in Fresno, CA. This is an in-office role for someone who wants to be deeply embedded in the business, work closely with cross-functional partners, and have real ownership over how our products are positioned, promoted, and supported in the market. Regular travel will be required. This role is a key driver of our commercial success.

Job Description


The Opportunity

We are looking for a savvy, execution-oriented marketing leader who thrives at the intersection of product, sales, and marketing. This is not a purely strategic or purely creative role — it requires someone who can think strategically and then immediately translate that thinking into action.

You will lead product marketing efforts in the U.S., manage direct reports, and partner closely with Sales, Sales Operations, and leadership to bring clarity, momentum, and discipline to our go-to-market efforts.

This role is a strong fit for someone who is adaptable, takes initiative, and is comfortable operating with a high degree of ownership.

What You’ll Do

  • Own product positioning, messaging, and value propositions for existing products across U.S. B2B markets
  • Lead product marketing and product launch campaigns that target channel distribution and/or grower end users, ensuring alignment across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Leadership
  • Identify and cultivate business development relationships with industry organizations and channel partners
  • Translate technical product details into clear, compelling customer-facing messaging and develop effective sales/promotional materials for product launches
  • Create practical sales enablement tools that support real selling situations
  • Partner closely with Sales and Sales Operations to support pipeline growth and execution
  • Leverage CRM and web analytics data to inform campaigns, segmentation, and performance
  • Support and improve sales and marketing processes to drive clarity and efficiency
  • Lead and develop seasoned, successful direct reports, setting clear priorities and expectations
  • Balance strategic planning with hands-on execution

Qualifications


What We’re Looking For

Experience & Capabilities

  • 5+ years of proven experience in B2B product marketing
  • Strong understanding of go-to-market strategy and execution within channel sales environments
  • CRM experience required; HubSpot strongly preferred
  • Experience working closely with Sales and Sales Operations
  • Prior people leadership or mentorship experience
  • Comfortable working in an in-office environment in Bend, OR
  • Highly organized, accountable, and self-directed
  • Able to pivot quickly between tasks and priorities
  • Strong judgment and discretion
  • Practical, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Someone who builds strong working relationships that benefit the company’s brand and culture both in the office and with international co-workers/agencies
