Currently seeking Warehouse Material Handlers and Forklift Operators for a large manufacturer in San Antonio. Multiple locations (southside & southeast side). Day and overnight shifts.

Pay is $14-$17/hr. depending on position, shift, and location

Material Handler duties: 
  • Handling incoming and outgoing shipments from trucks and containers
  • Receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming materials against purchase orders or production sheets
  • Reporting any damaged goods, discrepancies, or material shortages
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and performing regular cycle counts
  • Utilize Radio Frequency (RF) scanning equipment to track inventory movement, location, and quantities
  • Ensuring a steady supply of materials and components to internal production areas  
  • Pulling, packing, crating, and securing finished products for outbound shipment
  • Operate pallet jacks to move pallets as necessary
Forklift Operator duties: 
  • Move material to designated areas within the warehouse or production facility using powered industrial trucks (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, or reach forklifts)
  • Safely load and unload materials, merchandise, raw materials, and finished products from incoming and outgoing trucks and containers
  • Conduct daily checks of the forklift to ensure it is safe and in good working condition
  • Organize and stack materials in correct storage bays and designated areas 
  • Utilize Radio Frequency (RF) scanning equipment to track inventory movement, location, and quantities 
  • Ensure loads are properly secured before transporting throughout facility 
  • Prepare and handle documentation such as bills of lading and shipping orders
  • Report mechanical issues or damage to supervisors
Requirements: 
  • Seeking at least 6 months-1 yr. of warehouse material handling experience 
  • Must have previous forklift experience for forklift position 
  • Will test out on forklift to be considered 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Drug screen and background will be conducted
