If this sounds interesting, we’d like to meet you.<br><br><strong>Job summary:<br><br></strong>To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a <strong>Team Lead - Warehouse</strong> located in <strong>Henrico.<br><br></strong>Reporting to the <strong>Warehouse Manager,</strong> the <strong>Team Lead - Warehouse</strong> role is responsible for implementing successful operations by managing all distribution and warehouse functions. Provides materials, equipment, and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing, and distribution services, supervising staff.<br><br><strong>What a typical day looks like:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing programs, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.</li><li>Complies with local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.</li><li>Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.</li><li>Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts, reconciling with data storage system</li><li>Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.</li><li>Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.</li><li>Monitors volume of business and defines appropriate work schedule.</li><li>Sets productivity and establishes necessary controls to ensure objectives are met.</li><li>Monitors condition and maintenance of operating / material handling equipment</li><li>Constantly monitors the efficient handling of shipments and receipts to create an error free culture.</li><li>Reviews the loading and unloading schedules to maximize efficiency and reduce expenses.</li><li>Coordinate floor cycle counts, physical inventory, and reconciling records.<br><br></li></ul><strong>The experience we’re looking to add to our team:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Highschool diploma or an associate’s degree, vocational or technical training, or equivalent experience</li><li>Minimum of 2+ years of related experience and has awareness of Flex technologies/ techniques</li><li>Demonstrates functional and process knowledge and participates in process.</li><li>Requires high level of competency related to function.</li><li>Demonstrates advanced technical skills and serves as a consultant in manufacturing line skills with other employees.</li><li>Demonstrates broad knowledge of manufacturing line techniques and may improve processes.</li><li>Ability to read and comprehend and interpret moderately complex instructions.</li><li>Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees, and supervisors of the organization<br><br></li></ul>-Site<br><br>Anord Mardix is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
