Feel free to enrich both your personal and work life and hop on board!<br><br><strong><b>Why you'll love this job</b></strong><br><br><ul><li>This position is a member of the Maintenance Control Team within the Integrated Operations Center.</li><li>Fast paced, collaborative environment supporting the AA mainline operation.</li><li>The Fleet Manager is the primary MOC contact for all fleet maintenance and reliability issues.</li><li>The Fleet Manager is responsible for oversight of the MOC Fleet desks and the day-to-day strategic operations of their fleets.</li><li>Ensures operational, regulatory, and fiscal performance</li></ul><br><br><strong><b>What you'll do</b></strong><br><br><ul><li>Reports to Director Fleet Management, MOC.</li><li>Provide oversight and support team of Maintenance Control Technicians (MCTs) and the MOC Supervisor(s).</li><li>Manage safety, work schedules, time control, adherence to Company rules/regulations and Union contracts.</li><li>Act as the primary focal point and provide guidance as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for maintenance items on the American Airlines fleet, including conducting / participation on powerplant or chronic investigative committees.</li><li>Maintain open channel of communication with Engineering to address fleet trends and receive insight into fleet system issues.</li><li>Creates, governs, and evaluates processes which ensure accomplishment of day-to-day analyses of aircraft fleets and systems.</li><li>Ensures processes are effective to create accurate Bills of Work (BOW) and schedule repairs of repetitive and chronic problems with minimal operational impact.</li><li>Participate in other Company interdepartmental working groups as assigned or required.</li><li>Accomplish Line Maintenance Station visits to act as liaison between Line Maintenance and IOC.</li><li>Represent Maintenance at external manufacturer, vendor, industry, and regulatory meetings.</li><li>Act as a liaison between the FAA, Maintenance, Engineering and Flight Operations regarding aircraft fleet related technical matters.</li><li>Ensure accuracy and currency of all MOC processes and procedures.
