They are seeking a Social Media and Influencer Specialist to create engaging content, partner with influencers, and showcase local businesses and events.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive organic social media strategies that align with destination goals and audience interests
  • Explore local hotspots, events, and businesses to create vibrant, authentic photo and video content
  • Develop scroll-worthy posts, reels, and TikToks that connect with audiences
  • Keep your finger on the pulse of social media trends and translate them into impactful content for our clients
  • Edit and refine visuals to perfection while staying true to each destination's unique vibe
  • Attend events to create live, in-the-moment content that feels fresh and dynamic
  • Identify, research, and recruit influencers based on brand alignment, audience demographics, and engagement metrics
  • Build and nurture relationships with influencers, guiding them through contracts, deliverables, and creative direction
  • Plan and coordinate influencer trips, press visits, and on-location shoots, ensuring every detail of the travel experience runs smoothly
  • Capture behind-the-scenes moments during influencer campaigns to boost visibility and engagement
  • Monitor content performance and use data-backed insights to refine and improve future campaigns
  • Partner with local businesses and stakeholders to showcase the stories that make destinations stand out
  • Work with internal teams to ensure all social and influencer efforts move the needle for our clients

Skills

  • A proven track record in creating social media magic-show us your portfolio!
  • Mastery of platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, plus experience with editing tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, Edits, and CapCut. As well as influencer marketing tools such as Aspire, Tagger, etc
  • Sharp photography and video skills that tell a story at first glance
  • An ability to stay organized and crush deadlines while managing multiple projects
  • A love for being on-the-ground-whether it's snapping pics at an event or creating live content that feels real and relatable
  • Experience in managing brand social media (1-3+ years)
  • Experience coordinating or managing influencer marketing (1-3+ years)
  • A willingness to hit the road when needed to capture the best content firsthand
