Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the platform product strategy, prioritizing high-value internal and external use cases
  • Deliver the core services that power our enterprise management user experience
  • Champion the hybrid deployment model (cloud-first with edge/on-prem components) and ensure the platform supports mission-critical broadcast workloads in both SaaS and offline/air-gapped environments
  • Lead customer discovery, stakeholder interviews, and technical research to shape the platform roadmap
  • Act as the Product Owner for the engineering team, maintaining a high-quality backlog and ensuring all work maps to strategic product outcomes
  • Collaborate with internal product groups to understand their platform requirements and ensure the platform delivers shared capabilities that can be leveraged across the Ross product ecosystem
  • Drive alignment between product management, architecture, DevOps, UX, security, and IT on platform priorities and design
  • Establish and own platform KPIs and success metrics, using them to inform prioritization, stakeholder communication, and product evolution
  • Define and maintain platform SLAs, SLOs, and availability standards in partnership with engineering and infrastructure
  • Drive internal enablement, including documentation, onboarding materials, and developer tooling to ensure other teams can effectively adopt and integrate platform services
  • Support integration planning for third-party vendors and partners, including SDK/API design and compatibility testing
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives, such as compliance reviews, penetration testing, or vendor evaluations that intersect with platform responsibilities

Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, with at least 2 years in a platform, infrastructure, or technical product role
  • Strong leadership through influence, driving alignment across engineering, sales, and business operations
  • Demonstrated experience building cloud-native, multi-tenant platforms in enterprise or mission-critical environments
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) including IaaS and PaaS services, authentication, and monitoring
  • Experience leading technical product development in hybrid or edge deployment models
  • Familiarity with shared services design patterns (e.g. centralized auth, API gateways, configuration services, telemetry pipelines)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills – ability to work with engineering, architecture, security, and internal customers
  • Proven ability to manage a product backlog, write clear user stories, and drive Agile ceremonies as a Product Owner
  • Background in enterprise IT, media tech, or SaaS infrastructure
  • Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD tooling, observability stacks and IAM technologies
  • Exposure to API economy or building platforms that support 3rd-party integrations
  • Self-starter, quick learner and can work with minimum supervision in meeting schedules and project deadlines
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team
