We do not just ingest data, we operationalize it.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">Our team is building infrastructure and workflows that turn messy information into usable intelligence for real customer decisions.</p><h2><strong>ABOUT THE ROLE</strong></h2><p style="min-height:1.5em">We are hiring a <strong>Product Lead - Data</strong> to own one of the most critical parts of the platform: the systems that transform fragmented, unstructured inputs into clean, actionable data. This is not a coordination-only PM role. We want someone who can operate at the center of product, data systems, AI workflows, and customer value.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">You will define the roadmap for data ingestion, enrichment, and workflow intelligence in close partnership with engineering, AI, and customer-facing teams.</p><h2><strong>WHY THIS ROLE</strong></h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Own a product area that sits at the center of Outmarket’s platform advantage.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Work directly with founders and a highly experienced engineering team.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Define how the product connects to PDFs, portals, spreadsheets, APIs, and external systems at scale.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Help create a category-defining system of intelligence in a large industry.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Lead a roadmap with direct customer impact and fast feedback loops.</p></li></ul><h2><strong>WHAT YOU’LL DO</strong></h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Own the roadmap for data ingestion, enrichment, and pipeline products.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Define how Outmarket captures and processes data across formats such as PDFs, portals, APIs, spreadsheets, and emails.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Partner with AI and engineering teams to design scalable workflows for cleaning, validating, and mapping incoming data.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Drive integration strategy with carriers, rating engines, AMS platforms, and submission portals.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Work closely with customer-facing teams to understand pain points and remove blockers to adoption.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Prioritize aggressively, test rapidly, and ship improvements on a frequent cadence.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Help define the product and operating model for one of the most technically important parts of the business.</p></li></ul><h2><strong>WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR</strong></h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">5+ years of product management experience, ideally in data platforms, ingestion pipelines, or <strong>B2B SaaS</strong>.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong understanding of ETL, APIs, OCR, and structured versus unstructured data challenges.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Track record of building data infrastructure products or platform-level capabilities.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Ability to translate messy business needs into clear product requirements and workflows.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Comfort working hands-on with engineers and customers to prototype, test, and improve solutions.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong prioritization skills and comfort in a fast-paced environment.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong judgment about where data quality, workflow design, and product usability intersect.</p></li></ul><h2><strong>BONUS IF YOU HAVE</strong></h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience in insurance technology, fintech, or enterprise data platforms.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Familiarity with data mapping, entity resolution, enrichment models, or schema design.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Exposure to AI-assisted data extraction or LLM-driven document processing.</p></li></ul><h2><strong>WHAT YOU’LL GET</strong></h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Ownership of one of the most critical product areas in the company.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Competitive compensation and early equity.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Direct influence over the product roadmap for data.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">A fast-moving, low-politics environment with strong customer pull.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Remote-first flexibility and direct access to leadership.</p></li></ul>
