Job Description: Maintenance and expansion of a mature, yet ever growing Fault Detection and Classification (FDC) product targeted at semiconductor manufacturing industry. We create over 250 new features a year. The software consists of a single code base used to generate 4 distributed components and some 250 communication DLLs. The software is written in C++ and heavily utilizes threads for asynchronous capabilities. As part of the team you will be required to Learn the software to understand how our customers use it. Understand the customer needs and how to translate the requirements into features that extend and not break existing functionality. Implement features using C++ Find and fix bugs Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related technical field. 3+ years’ experience working in semiconductor manufacturing company on data acquisition and analysis projects 3+ years’ experience in writing engineering code Demonstrated ability and passion for programming Knowledge of C++ and Object Oriented Design Experience with multi-threaded applications using ownership model Experience with MFCs a plus (You will be required to learn it if do not have current knowledge.) Experience with databases Applicant must have a dynamic skill set, be willing to work with new technologies, be highly organized and capable of planning and coordinating multiple tasks. The position will require attention to detail, effective problem solving skills and excellent judgment.
