Summary: The Workday Payroll Analyst is tasked with the design, configuration, testing, and maintenance of the Workday Payroll module, ensuring payroll processes are accurate and compliant. This role involves collaboration with HR, Finance, and IT teams to enhance payroll operations and system functionality. The analyst serves as a subject matter expert and manages various payroll-related processes and compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Workday Payroll configuration and functionality. Configure and maintain payroll-related business processes, earnings, deductions, taxes, and payroll integrations within Workday. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax requirements. Support payroll processing by validating configuration, reviewing audit reports, and troubleshooting discrepancies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions. Manage end-to-end testing for payroll configuration changes, Workday releases, and system enhancements. Develop and maintain Workday reports, calculated fields, and dashboards to support payroll operations and analytics. Monitor and resolve issues related to payroll interfaces, integrations, and third-party vendors.
