<div><strong>Job Description</strong><br/><br/>Chubb Risk Consulting is seeking a Director of Business Development to lead new sales initiatives, drive growth within existing accounts, and build strong client relationships. This role is responsible for delivering environmental health and safety and risk engineering solutions, ensuring exceptional client stewardship and comprehensive account management.<br/><br/><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br/><br/><strong>New Business</strong><br/><ul><li>Develop and maintain productive, professional relationships with key personnel and decision-makers for Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and property risk engineering consulting services.</li><li>Achieve sales objectives by collaborating with clients and prospects to analyze needs, gather data, and develop or propose tailored solutions.</li><li>Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to track and measure key sales metrics, and implement targeted strategies for industry, service, and account growth.</li><li>Coordinate activities to enhance the organization's presence and capabilities in local, regional, national, and international markets.</li></ul><br/><strong>Client Services</strong><br/><ul><li>Meet targets for profitable account retention and expansion revenue, while exceeding key objectives for designated accounts.</li><li>Foster and sustain positive client relationships, delivering a high-quality customer experience to ensure consistently high levels of client satisfaction.</li><li>Proactively assess, clarify, and validate client needs on an ongoing basis.</li><li>Conduct technical field work within your area of expertise, such as assessments, evaluations, or audits related to EHS or property risk engineering.</li><li>Execute activities to ensure successful project completion within budget and established timelines, including pre-project planning, coordination, stakeholder engagement, regular communication, managing change requests, project accounting, and invoicing.</li></ul><br/><strong>Key Metrics</strong><br/><ul><li>Achieve sales objectives, including retention and expansion of existing business and acquisition of new business.</li><li>Meet account revenue goals.</li><li>Attain billable hours targets through account management and technical field work.</li><li>Meet pipeline and forecast objectives.</li></ul><br/><br/><strong>Qualifications</strong><br/><br/><ul><li>Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution, preferably in a science or engineering-related field.</li><li>Minimum of five years of experience in the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) field; consulting experience is preferred.</li><li>Proven sales experience, with a background in EHS consulting considered an advantage.</li><li>Strong marketing orientation and a demonstrated record of consultative sales success within the EHS sector.</li><li>Ability to manage deadlines and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Demonstrated conflict resolution skills, both internally and with external stakeholders.</li><li>Excellent presentation, research, and analytical skills.</li><li>Commitment to accuracy, efficiency, quality, and sound judgment.</li><li>Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.</li><li>Based in a major U.S. metropolitan area.</li><li>Willingness to travel up to 35%, including occasional overnight trips.</li></ul><br/><br/>The pay range for the role is $102,000 to $148,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant's skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
