Job Summary:

The Delivery Driver / Warehouse Worker is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of products to customers while also performing a variety of warehouse duties. This role includes loading and unloading trucks, organizing inventory, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring excellent customer service during deliveries.

Key Responsibilities - Driving & Delivery Duties:

  • Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver goods to customers and vendors.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles using appropriate equipment (e.g., pallet jack, hand truck).
  • Verify orders before delivery to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Obtain signatures or proof of delivery and return required paperwork to the warehouse.
  • Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules while adhering to traffic and safety laws.
  • Communicate with dispatch or warehouse staff about delivery status, delays, or issues.
  • Provide professional, courteous service to customers upon delivery.

Warehouse Duties:

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment or delivery.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies.
  • Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Assist with cycle counts and regular inventory audits.
  • Operate equipment or other warehouse equipment as required (training provided if necessary).

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience in delivery driving and/or warehouse work preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures and equipment operation.
  • Good communication and time management skills.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and customer-oriented.

Working Conditions:

  • Combination of warehouse and driving environments.
  • Exposure to various weather conditions during deliveries.
  • May require early morning, evening, weekend, or overtime shifts.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
