About The Role

The Data Administration Coach is primarily responsible for leading the development of data models to support business intelligence systems.

The Data Administration Coach will:

  • Provids advanced technical support in the research, experimentation, business analysis and use of systems technology including architecture, integration capabilities and database management.
  • Develop the end-to-end vision and the logical design that translates into physical databases, and how the data will flow through the successive stages involved.
  • Knowledgeable and practices a wider range of data administration skills, often in a Business Process Reengineering context.
  • Participates in strategic data planning, including development and implementation of DA policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Understands data from the perspective of data processing and in the context of different life-cycle phases.
  • Activities may include data quality engineering, metadata consolidation and integration, metamodel development and maintenance, repository management, data warehouse design and data mining, data security administration, and formulation of enterprise-specific data metrics.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 12 years relevant experience, with a Bachelors; 10 years with a Masters or 7 years with a Ph.D.
  • The ideal candidate excels at technical leadership and can also serve as an individual contributor.
  • Extensive experience in Medicare and Medicaid data
  • Experience Answering complex questions about data
  • Experience Data architecture and design
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player
  • Proactive and resourceful
  • Able to work independently with little to no direction
  • Snowflake experience
  • Strong SQL skills and SQL Optimization
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • US Citizenship or Green Card holder and must have been in the US for 3 of the last 5 years.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience with ETL preferably Snowflake
  • Experience with Linux CLI
  • Experience with Bash or Python Scripting
  • Experience debugging complex data issues in ETL or SQL
  • Experience working with AI/ML models
  • Able to future-proof data and software design using big-picture thinking
  • Strong database experience, such as DB2 or Postgres
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology

Details

Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
