This position is responsible for receiving and inspecting inbound shipments, accurately picking and preparing outbound orders, assisting walk-in customers, and maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Pick and fulfill all types of customer and internal orders</li><li>Wrap pallets and prepare outbound orders for shipment or delivery</li><li>Receive and sign for incoming shipments; coordinate with carriers and drivers</li><li>Unload packages, inspect contents, and report any damages or discrepancies</li><li>Compare received shipments to purchase orders, invoices, and packing lists</li><li>Record item details and update inventory records accordingly</li><li>Label, sort, and store incoming inventory in designated warehouse locations</li><li>Maintain stock accuracy through timely updates in the inventory management system</li><li>Provide service to walk-in customers at the front counter, including parts lookup and transaction support</li><li>Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in accordance with safety guidelines</li><li>Complete daily assignments and tasks as directed by the Warehouse Manager</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment</li><li>Follow all Company safety protocols and operational procedures<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications & Experience<br><br></strong><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required</li><li>Minimum 1–2 years of warehouse or related experience preferred</li><li>Forklift certification or willingness to obtain upon hire Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods</li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment</li><li>Effective verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Customer service experience is a plus</li><li>Must be able to successfully complete a background check, drug screening, and any other required pre-employment screenings<br><br></li></ul><strong><strong>Work Schedule<br><br></strong></strong>This is a full-time position based at our <strong><strong>Superior Industrial Supply</strong></strong> location in <strong><strong>St. Louis, Missouri</strong></strong>.
