We are actively hiring a Community Outreach Coordinator to support patient recruitment efforts at a newly established clinical research site in Denver, CO. This position is based onsite and plays a key role in building community presence and driving awareness from the ground up.

The Community Outreach Coordinator serves as a hands-on, community-facing partner responsible for developing and executing outreach strategies to support clinical trial enrollment. This role focuses heavily on building community relationships, increasing awareness, and driving patient recruitment through strategic partnerships and local engagement initiatives. This individual will play a critical role in establishing the site’s footprint in the community and supporting long-term growth.

Shift:  Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5 PM and as needed
Location:  Denver, CO
Compensation:  Based on experience
FLSA Classification:  Non-Exempt

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute community outreach strategies to support patient recruitment across a newly established clinical research site within the Valkyrie Clinical Trials / Flourish Research network
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, referral sources, and local partners to drive awareness and engagement
  • Serve as a liaison between the site and community groups, fostering trust and long-term collaboration
  • Identify and engage diverse populations to increase access and participation in clinical trials
  • Plan, coordinate, and attend community events to promote education and visibility of clinical research opportunities
  • Support patient recruitment efforts by leveraging partnerships and identifying qualified participant leads
  • Track outreach activity, event performance, and recruitment metrics, providing regular updates to leadership
  • Utilize internal systems (CTMS) to accurately manage and track patient and outreach data
  • Assist in developing recruitment timelines and supporting reporting needs for site leadership
  • Represent the organization professionally in all community interactions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with site staff to align outreach efforts with operational goals
  • Additional duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in clinical research patient recruitment and/or community outreach
  • Experience supporting oncology clinical trials recruitment strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to build relationships and engage with community organizations and diverse populations
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working independently with a high level of ownership and initiative
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data tracking systems (CTMS experience preferred)
  • Must be able to travel locally for events and outreach activities and maintain reliable transportation
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for community events
