About the team and the role:

The Product Marketing Capabilities team is eBay’s strategic innovation hub for Product Marketing. We exist to make the PMM function more agile, scalable, and data-driven through AI-powered tools, data proficiency, systems innovation, operational frameworks, and seamless cross-functional collaboration.

We are hiring a GenAI Solutions Designer, Product Marketing, to build and scale AI-powered capabilities that elevate how PMM operates across inbound and outbound. This role combines strategic PMM expertise with hands-on GenAI execution. You will define standard methodologies for segmentation, positioning, and GTM. Then you will translate them into scalable AI-enabled systems. These systems improve speed, clarity, and business impact across a cross-functional organization. Success in this role requires strong cross-functional influence and the ability to align multiple partners without direct authority.

What you will accomplish:

  • Scale inbound and outbound product marketing initiatives by integrating shared data, experimentation frameworks, and automation into how PMM drives product-market fit and go-to-market outcomes.

  • Partner closely with Product, CRM, Research, Data, Analytics, Core Tech, and Marketing teams to find opportunities, align on priorities, and embed GenAI solutions into existing ways-of-working.

  • Codify and build Center of Excellence through scalable frameworks, governance principles, and standard methodologies so GenAI-enabled workflows can be adopted consistently across vertical PMMs and regional teams.

  • Design and deploy agentic workflows, smart assistants, and reusable prompt systems that translate strong PMM strategy into consistent, high-quality execution across teams and business units.

  • Build GenAI-powered capabilities that reduce friction and unlock scale across core PMM workflows, including insights generation, segmentation, positioning, messaging, and GTM planning.

  • Rapidly prototype and validate solutions using tools such as Python, Streamlit, or internal equivalents, then collaborate with technical partners to productionize scalable capabilities where appropriate.

What you will bring:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Product Marketing, Product Strategy, or Marketing Operations in a tech or ecommerce environment, with end-to-end PMM expertise across audience segmentation, positioning, messaging, and GTM execution.

  • Proven success operating in a matrixed organization, influencing cross-functional collaborators and senior leaders without direct authority, and driving alignment across competing priorities.

  • 1-2 years experience building with GenAI tools and APIs such as OpenAI, Claude, or LangChain and applying them to real-world workflows or products.

  • Comfort with scripting, prototyping, and building quickly using Python, Streamlit, or similar tools, with the ability to independently move from idea to working solution.

  • Fluency in prompt engineering, few-shot design, and shaping system behavior through structured context, tone, and audience nuance.

  • A structured, detail-focused approach that enables moving from ambiguity to clarity, building repeatable operating models, and embedding scalable, AI-enabled practices across a distributed PMM organization.
