Our delivery models are tailored to meet each client's unique requirements.<br><br>Recruiting for this role ends on 12/22/2025<br><br><strong>Work you'll do<br><br></strong>As a Technical Data Management Manager (Banking), you will lead the technical architecture, configuration, and implementation of enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) solutions at our Banking and FSI clients. You will operate at the intersection of technology and business-ensuring that MDM platforms are robust, scalable, and aligned with client objectives.<br><br><ul><li>Collaborate closely with data architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable technical architecture, designs and data integration patterns, including non-functional needs (e.g., security, resiliency, performance etc.)</li><li>Drive technical delivery of complex MDM programs, overseeing design, build, validation and production deployment and hyper-care phases</li><li>Support hands-on configuration and deployment as needed, of industry-leading MDM solutions (e.g., Informatica, Reltio), including matching, survivorship, hierarchies, and data quality controls</li><li>Lead technical teams through best practices in solution design, code reviews, release management, and troubleshooting complex issues across the MDM lifecycle</li><li>Design and enforce data governance, security, compliance, and privacy practices, ensuring regulatory alignment and operational excellence<br><br></li></ul>In addition, Managers also contribute to Deloitte's thought leadership, play a significant role in business development activities (to include, the development and presentation of proposals), and own responsibility for the development of junior staff.<br><br><strong>The team<br><br></strong>Our <strong>AI & Data practice</strong> offers comprehensive solutions for designing, developing, and operating advanced Data and AI platforms, products, insights, and services. We help clients innovate, enhance, and manage their data, AI, and analytics capabilities, ensuring they can grow and scale effectively.<br><br><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><strong>Required:<br><br></strong><ul><li>6+ years of relevant experience in data management consulting or industry roles, with a focus on master data management (MDM), data governance, metadata, data architecture, data strategy, data quality, data modeling, and data standards</li><li>4+ years Financial Services - Banking industry (consulting and/or industry) technical experience for banking data, products, and processes</li><li>3+ years hands-on technical implementation and support experience with leading data management platforms such as Informatica (MDM, 360, Data Catalog) and/or Reltio (Multi-domain MDM, Intelligent 360, advanced data models)</li><li>3+ years experience with programming and/or scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python, Java)</li><li>2+ years leading technical teams in large, complex MDM or enterprise data projects, with experience in solution architecture and release management</li><li>Bachelor's Degree</li><li>Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve</li><li>Limited immigration sponsorship may be available<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Advanced knowledge of data modeling, data integration (ETL/ELT), API management, and data quality tooling</li><li>Hands-on experience with on-premises and cloud MDM deployments (Azure, AWS, GCP)</li><li>Experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and automation for MDM platforms</li><li>Experience with emerging data architectures-including Data Mesh, Data Fabric, Multimodal Data Management, and AI/ML integration</li><li>Experience supporting technical pre-sales, solution demos, and proposal development</li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging both technical and non-technical audiences</li><li>Experience driving delivery in global, distributed environments</li><li>Advanced degree in a relevant technical specialization<br><br></li></ul>The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
