This is a unique opportunity for a strategic thinker and hands-on leader to drive brand visibility, market differentiation, and revenue growth in a fast-paced, client-centric environment.<br><br>You will serve as a key partner to Advisory leadership, translating business priorities into compelling marketing programs that elevate our market presence and deepen client engagement. With a strong grasp of professional services marketing, you will lead execution across acquisitions, alliances, industry campaigns, thought leadership initiatives, and go-to-market strategies that position the firm as a trusted advisor in a competitive landscape.<br><br>This role blends strategic insight, creative execution, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll thrive if you’re energized by growth, inspired by innovation, and motivated by the opportunity to make a lasting impact.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities And Essential Functions<br><br></strong><strong>Go-to-Market Execution<br><br></strong><ul><li> Launch and manage Advisory GTM campaigns aligned to priority sectors and offerings (AI, modernization, transformation, etc.). </li><li> Operationalize alliance GTM with Microsoft, Oracle, UiPath, and others—integrated into client-facing campaigns. </li><li> Ensure all positioning is client-first, insight-driven, and clearly differentiated from Big Four competitors. </li><li> Embrace AI-driven marketing tools and analytics to enhance speed, personalization, and impact across campaigns. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Acquisition Marketing Integration<br><br></strong><ul><li> Evaluate and integrate marketing functions from acquired firms (e.g., Auxis, Stax) into a unified Grant Thornton marketing model. </li><li> Lead brand transition and change management—balancing brand consistency with the unique strengths and capabilities of each acquisition. </li><li> Drive a collaborative approach that respects acquired talent and leverages institutional knowledge to accelerate market impact. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Content & Campaign Engine<br><br></strong><ul><li> Build a scalable, AI-enabled content operation modeled on “content factory” principles—fast, compliant, personalized, and reusable. </li><li> Leverage AI to optimize content development, campaign targeting, and performance measurement. </li><li> Run always-on campaigns triggered by market signals, client insights, and pipeline goals. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Cross-Service Line Alignment<br><br></strong><ul><li> Partner with Audit and Tax marketing lead to ensure message consistency and avoid duplication. </li><li> Position Advisory as the firm’s growth engine while aligning with firmwide brand campaigns. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Analytics & Accountability<br><br></strong><ul><li> Define and track KPIs: pipeline growth, win rates, alliance revenue, brand share of voice. </li><li> Deliver dashboards and insights for leadership visibility and data-informed decision-making. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Time Allocation<br><br></strong><ul><li> 40% Advisory GTM strategy and campaign execution </li><li> 25% Acquisition marketing integration and change management </li><li> 20% Alliance marketing (Microsoft, Oracle, UiPath) </li><li> 10% Cross-service line and firmwide alignment </li><li> 5% Talent development and marketing capability building <br><br></li></ul><strong>Performance Metrics<br><br></strong><ul><li> Growth in Advisory-sourced pipeline and revenue </li><li> Full integration of acquired marketing organizations within 12 months </li><li> Increase in alliance-attributed revenue </li><li> Improved campaign efficiency (cost per lead, cycle time) <br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus. </li><li> 8+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in professional services, consulting, or advisory environments. </li><li> Proven success in developing and executing strategic marketing plans that drive business growth. </li><li> Strong understanding of digital marketing, content strategy, and lead generation. </li><li> Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. </li><li> Ability to thrive in a high-growth, matrixed organization with shifting priorities. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Attributes<br><br></strong><ul><li> Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo). </li><li> Familiarity with industry sectors such as financial services, healthcare, or technology. </li><li> A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, a bias for action, and a commitment to leveraging AI to innovate, simplify, and scale marketing impact. <br><br></li></ul>The base salary range for this position in the firm’s Chicago, IL office only is between $184,000 and $276,000 per year.<br><br>The base salary range for this position in the firm’s Boston, MA, Iselin, NJ and New York, NY offices only is between $198,700 and $298,100 per year.<br><br><strong>About Us<br><br></strong>At Grant Thornton, we believe in making business more personal and building trust into every result – for our clients and you.
