Surrounded by a diverse and collaborative global community, you’ll be inspired each day to stretch, grow, and make an impact.</p><p></p><p>Learn about the Danaher Business System which makes everything possible.</p><p></p><p></p><p>The <b>Account Manager North Germany (f/m/d)</b> is responsible for generating revenue and market share for Leica Biosystems products and services from customers in the North of Germany (Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Bremen, parts of Niedersachsen and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern). This role actively manages existing Leica Biosystems accounts to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and maximize sales potential.</p><p><br>This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager North and is part of the DACH commercial organisation. This role will be <b>remote </b>while covering the assigned territory.</p><p><br><b>In this role, you will have the opportunity to:</b></p><ul><li><p>Own and achieve order and sales targets in the designated sales territory and accounts.</p></li><li><p>Promote the full Leica Biosystems product and services portfolio through customer visits and relationship building.</p></li><li><p>Develop account-based sales plans and strategies to increase market penetration, based on deep understanding of customer needs.</p></li><li><p>Proactively manage sales pipelines through to successful close.</p></li><li><p>Research, identify, and generate new pipelines and opportunities aligned with LBS strategic goals.</p></li><li><p>Manage and update pipeline data in CRM tools; provide accurate sales forecasting.</p></li><li><p>Initiate and coordinate demos and customer presentations of instruments and systems.</p></li><li><p>Serve as the single point of contact for all account-related customer satisfaction topics.</p></li><li><p>Follow through quotations, tenders, and proposals and monitor competitor activities and market developments.</p></li><li><p>Participate in exhibitions, customer meetings, and events to support Leica Biosystems brands and products.</p></li></ul><p><br><b>The essential requirements of the job include:</b></p><ul><li><p>Relevant and demonstrable sales/account management experience in a Clinical and/or Life Science/Diagnostic environment; experience in pathology laboratories preferred.</p></li><li><p>Proven record of successful selling of similar products with strong closing skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to evaluate customer needs and selectively sell solutions.</p></li><li><p>Fluent German and excellent English skills.</p></li></ul><p><br><b>Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:</b></p><ul><li><p>Ability to travel 80% within assigned territory</p></li><li><p>Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.</p></li></ul><p><br><b>It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:</b></p><ul><li><p>Customer relationship management in clinical diagnostics.</p></li><li><p>Working with CRM tools such as Salesforce.com</p></li></ul><p><br>Leica Biosystems, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
