Account Executive (Enterprise And Mid-Enterprise)

The Opportunity

As an Account Executive at Vendia, you are a sales leader experienced in selling into enterprise and mid-enterprise accounts. As a successful candidate you are a creative, energetic, self-starter who understands the sales process. You know how to sell innovation and disruption through customer vision expansion and can drive deals forward to compress decision cycles. You love understanding a product in depth and are passionate about communicating its value to customers and System Integrators. Always hunting for new opportunities, you must be able to close net new accounts while maintaining existing accounts.

You are a self-motivated, hunter mindset sales professional, who has a good understanding of the data & analytics space, as well as business and technology buying personas.

Role And Responsibilities

  • Understand Vendia's product, selling motion and buying personas.
  • Proactively prospect, conduct account research, and leverage intent-based signals to identify target accounts and stakeholders, and develop a sales pipeline.
  • Develop an outreach plan with targeted messaging to penetrate target accounts.
  • Follow up on qualified leads to ensure they are processed timely.
  • Close business to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual bookings objectives.
  • Build strong and effective relationships, resulting in growth opportunities
  • Work closely with Marketing to build and execute campaigns that ensure lead quality and quantity.
  • Be a high energy individual with a strong desire to achieve top results with a dependable, positive "can-do" attitude over the phone, web conference and in person.

Skills And Qualifications

  • BA/BS with minimum of 5 years of field experience (sales, sales development, or business development) in a fast-paced and competitive market with a focus on new business
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Familiarity with selling data and analytics platforms.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts, possess enthusiasm for technology and to articulate clearly to all levels of technical aptitude.
  • Engaging and compelling customer skillshigh cognitive empathy and ability to craft stories tailored to the customer.
  • Demonstrated experience and approach to qualifying potential opportunities through initial discovery with prospects.
  • Track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets
  • Aptitude to learn quickly and establish credibility with prospective customers.
  • High EQ and self-awareness.
  • Self-driven, competitive attitude and strong desire to be successful.
  • Excellent time and resource management skills.
  • Experience with CRM, Marketing Automation, ABM tools.
  • Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts).
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Skilled in building business champions and running a complex sales process
  • Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g. MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales)
